Jose Irias

Jose Irias is the dedicated owner and founder of Right Choice Trees, a premier tree and land service company based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. As a leading expert in the arboriculture industry, Jose has built a stellar reputation throughout Middle Tennessee for his unwavering commitment to safety, precision, and customer satisfaction. Leading a family- and minority-owned business, Jose takes immense pride in providing top-tier tree care solutions that protect local properties and enhance the natural beauty of his community. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he ensures clear and transparent communication with a diverse clientele, making every property owner feel valued and understood.

Over 25 Years of Industry Experience

With over a quarter-century of hands-on experience in the tree service industry, Jose brings a wealth of practical knowledge and specialized skill to every project. Since beginning his career more than 25 years ago, he has encountered and overcome nearly every challenge imaginable in tree care, from routine canopy maintenance to complex, high-risk limb removals. This extensive background allows him to quickly assess the health and stability of trees, determine the most effective course of action, and execute solutions that prioritize the safety of both his crew and his clients' properties. His deep understanding of tree biology, local weather patterns, and advanced rigging techniques ensures that every job is handled with the utmost professionalism.

Building Right Choice Trees

In 2018, Jose channeled his decades of expertise into founding Right Choice Trees, LLC. His vision was simple yet powerful: to create a local tree service company that property owners could implicitly trust. By strictly avoiding the use of subcontractors, Jose ensures that his high standards of quality and reliability are maintained on every single job site. Today, Right Choice Trees serves a broad area encompassing Nashville, Smyrna, La Vergne, Franklin, Brentwood, and Murfreesboro. Under his leadership, the company has become synonymous with honest work, rapid response times, and an exceptional customer experience, truly living up to its motto: "Right Equipment, Right People, Right Choice!"

Advanced Education and Safety Certifications

In an industry where safety is paramount, Jose has consistently prioritized ongoing education and rigorous safety standards. Notably, his education includes a highly specialized Powerline Clearance Certification. This critical credential signifies that Jose and his team possess the advanced training required to safely operate near live electrical wires—one of the most dangerous and demanding aspects of tree care. Whether preparing properties for the harsh ice and storm seasons or carefully navigating tight residential spaces, Jose's safety-first approach guarantees that all work meets strict industry regulations. Managing a fully licensed, bonded, and insured team, his educational background translates directly into peace of mind for every homeowner and business he serves.

Comprehensive Tree Service Expertise

Jose's expertise spans the full spectrum of tree and land services, making him a versatile and comprehensive resource for Middle Tennessee residents. He oversees everything from routine tree trimming—which promotes healthy growth and prevents disease—to large-scale land clearing for new construction projects. Jose is particularly adept at handling 24-hour emergency tree removals, stepping in when severe weather strikes to safely clear immediate hazards. By carefully evaluating diseased, damaged, or poorly positioned trees, he provides cost-effective solutions that save clients money while protecting their landscapes from potential disasters.

A Customer-First Approach to Tree Care

Beyond his technical skills, Jose is known for his steadfast dedication to the customer experience. He understands that dealing with tree issues—especially emergencies—can be highly stressful for homeowners. That is why he has implemented a strict policy of returning all calls on the same business day, ensuring that clients are never left waiting in the dark. Jose believes that exceptional service is built on a foundation of reliability, competitive pricing, and genuine care for the community. His dedicated leadership ensures that Right Choice Trees not only delivers outstanding arboricultural results but also builds lasting relationships with the people of Middle Tennessee.
